After a year calling myself a freelancer, I remember saying that the financial side from my job won't be differ too much from regular office hour. You got a lot of projects this month, but maybe none at all next. So it leaves you with average paycheck each month, maybe more if you spend less.
I remember saying the most benefit from freelancing is time. Despite the challenge to arrange my schedule for actual work and meeting, and try not to overwork in once (don't procastinate, self!), I still manage to have some spare time. But, the weird thing is, why people never ask what do I use that time for.
